Apple Siri has never been good
With the addition of Artificial Intelligence, it has gotten worse!
I completely bought into the Apple ecosystem decades ago.
From the beginning Apple Siri has been laughably bad. I gave up using it for anything except for setting timers and notifications years ago.
So when Apple announced Apple AI, I thought I would give Siri another try.
I cannot believe how bad it is. It supposedly uses ChatGPT now, but when I ask Siri something, and then ask ChatGPT the same thing, they give different answers. The Siri ones were nearly always bad, while ChapGPT was usually accurate. Siri is actually worse now with AI than it was before!
To add to the baffling weirdness, my iPhone recognizes spoken text better than ever.
Yesterday, I found this post from Paul Kafasis. He does an exhaustive take down of Siri.
I cannot understand why Apple has delivered something this bad and never improved it.
